Toomer was born in 2023 out of frustration—and hope. Frustration with the overwhelming plastic waste choking our oceans. Hope that with enough small actions, we could help turn the tide.

It all started with a single mission: replace plastic bags with something better. Something people would be proud to carry. Something that doesn’t cost the Earth.

We created our first reusable tote with a clear purpose: to design high-quality, ocean-inspired bags made from 100% sustainable materials—and use them as a force for good.

Just one year later, thanks to our incredible community, Toomer has helped remove over 100,000 plastic bags worth of waste from the ocean. We donate 50% of every sale directly to The Ocean Cleanup, supporting their cutting-edge work to remove plastic from oceans and rivers across the globe.
